Vladswim Challenge

Description

Vladswim Swim Challenge is a 2.5, 5 km and 10km open water marathon swimming event.

Swimmers can compete only as solos. This is a chance for you to challenge yourself in a safe environment without the need for a boat or paddler.

2.5km Vladswim Challenge Swim

Is our shortest swim offered, it comprises of one loop around the course.

You start at Chinamans Beach and swim toward Balmoral until you see inflatable Santa as your swimming turning buoy, this is at 1.25km distance just of our Balmoral Beach. After that you return to Chinamans Beach.

CLUB SWIMMERS – are welcomed; 2.5km course is recognized by Swimming Australia as open water event; and you will have your time officially registered. Please note that our online registrations are open to swimmers from 16y and over. However, we can accept* younger competitors on manual form entry. 5km Vladswim Challenge Swim

Event part of NSW Swimming Leaders Board; you will complete our course twice, so two loops. Course starts at Chinamans Beach, swim direction towards Balmoral until you see inflatable Santa, this is your swimming turning buoy at 1.25km distance, just of our Balmoral Beach.

After that you swim back to return to Chinamans Beach and then complete the course one more time.

CLUB SWIMMERS – are welcome; 5km course is recognized by Swimming Australia as open water event; and you will have your time officially registered. 10km Vladswim Challenge Swim

Is our longest swim event, this is designed for those who want to challenge themselves to longer course or need qualifying time for Rottnest Channel Swim. You will complete our course four time, so four loops.

Course starts at Chinamans Beach, swim direction towards Balmoral until you see inflatable Santa, this is your swimming turning buoy at 1.25km distance, just of our Balmoral Beach.

After that you swim back to return to Chinamans Beach and then complete the course three more times.

Feeding station will be set up for 10km swimmers close to Chinamans shore. Station will be floating on the water with your nutrition drinks and gels, so that you can easily refuel after each loop.
