Vik Mravec –
Dear Vlad and Viki,
Thank you, Irene and Sevasti for putting on the Kalymnos Swim Adventure. It truly was one of the best holidays I have ever experienced.
Everyday was a real swim adventure. Seriously, How many holidays do you get to go on where you swim km after km in the most pristine blue of blue waters and arrive at a lunch destination where you literally crawl out of the water to be greeted by smiling Sevasti’s freshly grilled ( caught at 5am that morning) mackerel accompanied with traditional Greek salad!
A swim adventure where you also become an accomplished Channel swimmer. Yes that’s right, listen up Vlad swimmers, you now have a new benchmark in Channel swimming, The inaugural Kalymnos to Telendos Channel swim. All the elements were there, well almost, a bit warmer and shorter than the mighty english channel and the local tavernas greeting you at the end of the journey. Hey it’s Greece!
I could go on and on and on. Bottom line, I am so grateful for the wonderful experience, improved swim stroke and most importantly the new friendships made along the way. Thank you everyone for a truly special time.
Hugs and kisses,
Fi Wilkie

Kalymnos, Eastern Greek islands, view from our room (below). Vladswim Adventures. It is paradise here, perfect swimming weather and conditions in the lovely blue Aegean Sea. We’re enjoying riding scooters around the island to a different bay or beach each day; wonderful, friendly, hospitable Greek people; excellent food. To date this week we have swam over 30 Km’s, with Vladimir Mravec proving guidance on our swim techniques. Enjoying inter-island channel swims in particular, and swimming into limestone caves, plus swimming to beach tavernas for coffee. Thanks to Vlad and Sevasti for organising. Cheers, Pauline & Dave
