On a cloudy and windy morning at 6am we jumped into the water for yet another morning swim session. Like every morning we enjoy sunrise, fresh air, salt water and great swim team atmosphere.
However today was special. Everyone who came to the session also received a memorable experience.
At around 7am from behind Mrs Macquarie point corner a massive boat cruised slowly into the harbour. The entire swim squad stopped swimming and began to watch as Queen Marry 2 passed by. Everyone was very excited at the spectacular sight. At 72m in height and 345m long a ship was slowly floating by the pool. The view from the water of the pool was wonderful and it looked like aliens were coming on a massive ship to Sydney. Everyone realized how small we are but what great thing’s we can do.
We took some pictures for our friends and families to share.
This is our squad swimming pool – Andrew Boy Charlton Pool; and we never know what other surprises there may be in the future.
