Pool Squad Sessions

Our pool sessions with professional coaching are a standout feature of the Vladswim program. Every session is carefully prepared and aligned with the yearly swim plan for the season.

Sessions cover:

  • Warm-up
  • Swim technique to improve stroke efficiency
  • Drills and swim skills development
  • Swimming with paddles, pull buoys, and fins
  • Varying swim intensity based on the swim plan Aerobic, Anaerobic, Speed …
    Swim pace, stroke power, and stroke rate
  • Swim down (cool down)

MORNING SWIM SQUAD

The Morning Squad is a challenging 1.5-hour swim session suitable for swimmers capable of covering a distance of 4 km or more, working at various intensities. This session is ideal for highly motivated swimmers aiming to achieve long-distance open water goals. It is compulsory to book your session in advance.

EVENING SWIM SQUAD

This squad is suitable for swimmers able to cover a distance of 1.0 – 2.8 km. It caters to all levels, from first-timers to advanced swimmers.

 

The focus is on building swimming fitness and endurance through skill drills, refining technique, and varying swim intensities. Booking your session in advance is compulsory.

WHERE ARE WE SWIMMING?

Vladswim Pool Locations

Vladswim pool locations are set based on the season.

Summer Season
During the summer season, the main training pool is Andrew (Boy) Charlton Pool, located in the heart of Sydney next to the Royal Botanic Garden.
The summer season runs from 1st September to 20th April.

Winter Season
In the winter season, Vladswim sessions move to Victoria Park Pool and Prince Alfred Pool.
Both pools are conveniently located close to Central Station.
