This unforgettable swim starts at Bondi Beach and follows the stunning coastline north along the majestic cliffs to South Head, where you enter Sydney Harbour and finish in beautiful Watsons Bay.

A true bucket-list experience for every marathon swimmer, this swim combines iconic scenery with a rewarding challenge that showcases the best of Sydney’s open water

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Support boat
  • Experienced paddler
  • Structured swim preparation

CONDITIONS:

  • Unpredictable surf, swell, and strong currents
  • Challenging winds, especially in exposed sections of the course
  • Final 2 km transitions into the calmer waters of Sydney Harbour

AVERAGE SWIM TIME:

  • 2 hours 35 minutes – 4 hours 30 minutes
