ABOUT THE EVENT
Malabar Beach is one of Sydney’s eastern beaches, protected by cliffs on both sides. The swim takes place inside a bay about 1 km long and 300 m wide. Conditions are usually calm at the start, but can become choppier around the turning buoys.
This event is a fantastic step up for swimmers looking to increase their distance from 1 km to 2.5 km, while still enjoying a safe and scenic location.
