This swim is part of the Lake Argyle 20 km swim and is organized on the same day. The event setup is well-coordinated. The popularity of this swim has been steadily growing, with around 150 swimmers participating in 2023.
Taking place in fresh water, it marks the second freshwater marathon swim in Australia accessible to public open water swimmers.

Lake Argyle 10 km Swim Preparation
Our preparation program kicks off in January and runs for 12 weeks, encompassing all essential aspects of training.
This includes regular pool sessions and challenging long-distance swims ranging from 3 to 10 km. Completing the 10 km swim not only adds to your swimming achievements but also enhances your overall knowledge and readiness to become a Marathon Ocean swimmer.
